LifeOnKey, as part of a European consortium, have been selected for funding by AAL with this new project SmartBEAT.
SmartBEAT is a system for monitoring aging population that have been diagnosed with Heart Failure (HF). There is a massive demographic shift happening all over the globe: as soon as 2020 there will be 1 billion people over 60 years old worldwide. Even more compelling, across the globe markets are transforming as there are more old than young (the Global Coalition on Aging).
Strategically, this is an important step for LifeOnKey since it will allow them to launch in 2016 a new suite of products for the aging population.
