I am Linda Harnevo, an Israeli serial entrepreneur.
I have entered this fascinating world of innovation during my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics in the Weizmann Institute, a paradise for international research in Science. My mentors were: (i) the Dr. Zvia Agur that opened for me the gate to the hybrid world of mathematics and biology and taught me the benefits of using mathematics to make sense of medicine and other worlds; she – being an amazing innovator, allowed me to dream about changing the world using these tools; and (ii) late Prof. Lee Segal that was a great mathematician that has taught me to think math within different other areas, while remaining true to the fascinating math universe.
For many years now I am working in hi tech in Israel, US and European countries, as well as have been blessed with the opportunity to serve as a board director in public Israeli companies in NASDAQ (like Lipman Engineering and Gilat satellites, that are definitely example of great innovation and success).
I am the chairwoman of RedZebra Ltd. (www.redzebraltd.com), a boutique incubator in Israel that I have co-founded with my dear partner Moshe Farin. Together we have been so lucky to innovate as well as help/push others to innovate and grow new companies from these innovations in this fascinating world of web and mobile.
These days I am also managing LifeOnKey INC, one of RedZebra’s daughter companies. LifeOnKey is a vision that definitely has been ahead of its time, of involving the patient in its own medical world, using technology. In the last years we have been lucky that finally this idea has gained not only momentum and full recognition, but also is being heavily pushed all over the world.
The second great company that RedZebra has created is Jumma (www.jummatechnology.com) – where we have innovated the way inspection is realized in construction – especially using artificial intelligence to automate it.
My biggest achievement and pride are my two sons Ran Harnevo, and Oren Harnevo – very successful entrepreneurs in their own merit and great people!
