RedZebra is developing a new platform ORBIPS funded by Eurostars

RedZebra is developing an innovative, collaborative mobile platform for orchestrating the building process (ORBIPS – ORchastrating  Building Intelligent ProcesseS . This project has been a result of a unique collaboration with  Joanneum Research

The project has won a Eurostars funding, together with another Austrian partner Indoors , that will create (together with RedZebra) an augmented reality module for remote inspection of the building process).

At the heart of the new product a collaborative technology platform that will enable:

• multiple parties’ information exchange. This is a most important communication layer for the project as its stores knowledge, plans, drawings, practices, procedures, standards, guidelines, and methodologies to make them readily available prior to making a decision or taking action – and updating them post decision making and while managing the exceptions and rejects;
• a groundbreaking exceptions’ engine that manages the inspection in the construction process, and manages rejects and exceptions in a collaborative way
• since the system will not develop a display mode for plans or any other document – we will prepare and customize all the connectors that integrate the existing with the proposed systems together (like AutoCAD, BIM creator, Word, Excel, etc.)
• a built-in analytical module to make sense of the big data
• an innovative engine for dynamic and proactive design of building processes, so that the way a client uses our system will be totally customizable
• Workflow charts connected to tasks by one-click (mobile and web)

• This information system will be supported by a sophisticated rule engine that allows the managers to set their own process or set of tools, (without the use of a programmer) or use existing schemes and personalize it.
• The infrastructure of this system will be a robust collaboration platform with security and permission modules built-in, that has this process engine and rule engine in its kernel – and a total mobile (or web) set of applications for the different many users of the system

The system will have many more modules – which will make it a unique delivery for this new market
